What Is an ASOC?
An ASOC is a medical facility that can manage the medication acquisition process and administer ViiV Injectables to your patients. With a referral and prescription, patients can utilize an ASOC to receive their injection while you maintain their overall care as their primary provider.
Why use an ASOC?
If you prefer to have ViiV Injectables administered outside of your office, an ASOC may be an option. ASOCs present you with the ability to prescribe APRETUDE and CABENUVA without having to acquire and administer the medicine in your office. ASOCs may provide your patients with a more convenient location to receive their injections.
What Is a Network ASOC?
Some ASOC locations are specially designated as Network ASOCs and offer patients additional services to help support their adherence to therapy. These include the services listed below:
- Benefits verification
- Prior authorization coordination
- ViiVConnect and Patient Savings Program navigation in understanding what the patient may be eligible for
- Clinician-led onboarding call for your patients
- Regular communication with your office
- Multiple patient appointment reminders
The ASOC Locator tool will indicate if a site is a Network ASOC.
